Copenhagen in January

I forgot how much I love Copenhagen. I visited the city last week to study to the forthcoming application for a Ph.D.

Copenhagen is beautiful in these days and I have tried to capture some of its greatness. The first picture is of The Round Tower – an very old observatory in the middle of Copenhagen. There is no stairs in The Round Tower, ’cause the king demanded that he should be taken to the top in a horse carriage. The Round Tower is an exhibition place as well and right now they show an exhibition about broken relationships.

The next picture is taken at the main shopping street in Copenhagen: Strøget. It is a very famous fountain and it looked so beautiful in the sunset. It is called ” The fountain of storks”. Actually the birds are cranes…
